We often get so “busy” doing and hustling for our worth, that we forget what genuinely brings us peace, purpose, and contentment. We look outward for things to give us a sense of worth and meaning, instead of refocusing on what lights us up. It’s easier to jump to the next spark (and so on), instead of focusing on the work that lights us from within for the long run.

Our kids and teens look for outside influences to shape who they should look like, act like, and be like. Meanwhile, as adults, we can also get stuck trying to “fit in” instead of finding true belonging. There has never been a more important time to be your most authentic self, teach our children to do the same, and make deeper connections with them because of it.

You are never too young or old to be who you truly are. Your whole heart, your whole life’s peace and happiness depends on it. Today can be the first step to finding it.

 

A Wholehearted Approach

After 21 years in the Mental Health field, I know very clearly my role as a Therapist.

I believe that holding space for another person , using empathy, compassion, and connection is the greatest gift we can share. My approach to therapy is based on understanding attachments, our human need for connection, and a strong foundation in recognizing, naming, and speaking about our emotions.

With a Masters in Marriage & Family Therapy and a license in Mental Health Counseling, I bring a collaborative approach to the relationship. My counseling/coaching style is interactive. Together we will journey through to find a deeper understanding and connection with yourself and all those important to you.

I am a lifelong learner and bring this to all my work. I am always seeking meaning and a deeper understanding of human connection.
